MUNICH - Recently, we where contacted by the Museum of Natural History in Munich, Germany, where we met with HRH Princess Auguste von Bayern.
The museum is in the process of being revamped, and the Princess is taking the realization of the new and upgraded museum very much to heart. Re-opening to the general public is slated for 2014.
The Princess von Bayern worked with Bart Peeters on location at the museum to photograph an enormous collection of extremely rare bugs, beetles and other artifacts. An admittedly unusual job, but a perfect match for our studio. Metallic, colorful, reflecting species and items were the subject of our viewfinders for two full days.
A real catwalk for bugs and a truly unique opportunity to capture the world's most extensive collection of insects in a highly aesthetic way.
